TIPS AND TRICKS

With all the different settings you can change to configure your template, there is one thing that you need to keep in mind. This would be that you are working with modules. Modules can be copied, they can be assigned to different pages, etc. Taking into consideration these factors you really have alot of control on the design and look of not only the template, but how each and every page of your website looks.

Assigning Module Positions

Below is an image of the left colum parameters in the content module, which shows the five module position assignable entery fields. By using these fields you can assign any module position that is currently available. You can even create your own, as we did earlier, and enter it here.

As you see in the example, you just enter in the name of the position. Then every module that is assigned and published to that position will be shown there. Again, if the first assignable position is left blank in either the right or left column in the Content Module, the column will auto hide. What this does is allow you more control over modules and their positions within a template.
